Are the frames different ,gas tanks ,leaf springs? I know that the sub has more leaves and the front shackle on the suburban is shorter!

This lowering combination lowers the truck level measured from ground to fender trims. I'm torn between the stock skinny wheels and deep fat steels. There is no reason you can't have both and change them like a pair of shoes depending on your mood. So heres the breakdown I prefer to use: McGaughy's MCG33153 73-87 2.5″ drop spindles.

Harrison has always wanted to install the early 1973-80 Square body inner fenders in the 1981-87 Square body platform and see what he could gain by doing so. The 1973-80 inner fenders have a larger housing and should be able to bolt in without too much fabrication.
